It is a sad day when Black People keep proposing fail strategies. It happens at least three times each year. The day after thanksgiving, the week before christmas and the Saturday before easter. Someone always tries to get Black People to keep their money. Instead their energy and efforts should be put toward getting Black People to spend their money with Black Businesses and getting those Black Businesses to buy their products from Black manufactures or Wholesalers. For Black men, not spending money is a nobrainer. But when it comes to Black Women, spending money shopping is therapeutic, relaxing and a serious competitive hobby. It is almost hardwired in their brain to shop and find the best sale and then negotiate that sale price. Brothers who have witnessed this phenomenon can attest that I am right.
Therefore, to tell these Black Women who have been socialized to engage in this behavior by their mothers to stop without an alternative, is like trying to convince the program christians that jesus ain't coming back. Those of us who know the truth, know that he ain't coming back (http://www.thetruthcenter.com).
So let's stop using the word Black in the Negative and instead, create economic strategies that benefit Black People. I propose The Quiet Resolution (TQR) at http://tqrbe.blogspot.com.
Respect!

Micheal Vick's Indictment
Micheal Vick's Indictment
Justice for Black Men goes something like this. You are guilty until proven innocent. Michael Vick is a victim of politics gone bad. Gambling is legal all over the country. I don't agree with dog fights, cock fights, human fights or the unnecessary war in Iraq.
Michael Vick is a good professional football player and should have had better things to do with his money. I hope he is proven innocent, because we don't need anymore examples of Black People Behaving Badly. The former Mayor of Atlanta, GA is in prison. Too much money and power leads to inappropraite behavior for those who have not been taught how to be successful. Maybe William Bill Cosby should open up a school for Rich Black Professionals and teach them about money and power, because their agents, family members and handlers are doing a poor job.
Michael Vick, here me! When you overcome this obstacle, contact Dr. Claud Anderson at The Harvest Institute and support his efforts toward Empowering Black People.(http://www.theharvestinstitute.org)
